My beautiful, ridiculous, generous soulmate lost a short battle with a nasty cancer. St Catherine's Hospice have been there with us from the beginning, with a 24/7 advice line, with moral support, symptom and pain control, with dignified, respectful care through his last days. Without their input and wrap-around care this horrendous journey would have been a much different one. I have utmost respect for all the staff and volunteers that show such professionalism in heart breaking circumstances.
